PCC's a great school,Quite BrightNursing
PCC's a great school, but you need to know what you're getting into before you attend. It's nothing like the local state college. I love PCC now, but when I first arrived I found the rules confusing. Just make sure you know what you're doing before you show up in late Aug.

Question
Pensacola Christian College is an incredible college toBrightComputer Science
Pensacola Christian College is an incredible college to attend. It provides a good solid education at a good price, but it is not for wimps, complainers, or party animals. The teachers are excellent and are even willing to learn from their students. They challenge each student to excell beyond where they are both academically and spiritually.

As with any institution run by men, it is not perfect. There are rules that demand obedience. Most of these rules are to provide an atmosphere that is condusive to good studying, to protect the students, or to just make thing flow smoothly.

The challenging academics will sharpen your mind. The challenging rule will prove your character. The unusual dating standards will improve your creativity. (I am happily married, with my first child on the way.) The good preaching will build up your conscience. (No, you do not have to agree with every detail, but take the time to search the truth) The first class facilities will give you a taste of excellence and good workmanship. The on campus employment will teach you ministry.

If you are considering college, consider PCC. If God points you elsewhere go there. If God points you to PCC don't you dare go anywhere else.

Eccl. 12:13-14P.S. A lot has been said about accreditation. I used to be an education and computer science double major. God led me away from the education, but I learned a lot and am still reading about education. Accreditation = Compromise Prime example is the Michigan Charter Schools. These schools are forced to use secular textbooks, but they are allowed Bible classes. Sounds like compromise to me. Accreditation is only a problem if you make it a problem. Businesses are interested in profit, prove to them that freedom to truly educate is better than state control. Let God be your Creditor not the Florida state board.

Question
This is my fourth year at PCC, andQuite BrightEducation
This is my fourth year at PCC, and regardless of what other people say, it is great! The rules are strict, but where can you go in real life without rules? It's all in your perspective. Are you the kind of person who focuses on the cans or can nots? The academic program is definitely above average, and the teachers know their stuff. I have always felt that my teachers were working for me, and I could ask for help without being made to feel stupid. The other students are very friendly and make you feel like family. Go see the campus for yourself!
