Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I was raised in a fundamentalist Christian backgroundNursing
I was raised in a fundamentalist Christian background and initially believed everything I was taught at PCC. However, in the 11 years since I have graduated, I have truly come to know the Lord as my Savior, friend, and helper who is patient with me and loves me just as I am, even as He works in my life to change me. The biggest things missing at PCC are GRACE and a GENUINE love and concern for all people, ESPECIALLY those who don't agree with PCC. Jesus was known as a friend of sinners. He didn't condone their sin but he didn't reject or humiliate them either. I feel that PCC is rather legalistic and pharasaical in its teachings. It is not the kind of school I would choose to attend again, nor would I want my own two children to go there.

Question
The Lord is Sovereign.Religion/Religious
The Lord is Sovereign. And this is how I would heartily recommend PCC
When I choose PCC I was in the will of God and so had peace in doing so. Furthermore, I was in a right relationship with my parents

though [as a side note] I too many times took them for granted (i.e. did not MAKE time to write them letters --when they STILL wrote them). The testimony I had in going to a Christian College and through my own life would have been greater had I wrote back (even though I called them long-distance once a week (even if I "forced" myself to do so sometimes, but never with a negative attitude).

But at any rate God is Sovereign and my experience at PCC was in His perfect will.
Having said that let me add that all things do work together for good, and that I found that true at PCC!

Which begs the question: Is PCC God's will for you?
3 questions:

Do you want to serve God and do His Will?
Have you prayed about attending Pensacola Christian College?
Has God given you steadfast confidence borne of faith that PCC is His Will for you?
You say:
What about what Major I want? Do you want to do God's Will?
Then let Him DECLARE your Major and provide a College to train you in the Major He wants for you.
You say:
What about finances? Have you prayed about it? Then what God orders HE SHALL provide in FULL. Finances WILL be there! Your part is obedience working heartily as unto the Lord and His part will MORE than supply all your needs in Christ Jesus!

You say:
But I have fears? Has God given you peace? I am not talking about the not needing courage to go to school and perhaps leave home. I am talking about the KNOWLEDGE that God will be with you there and that it is where He wants you.

PCC IS an Excellent College. Humanly Speaking you would be attending an excelent institution and I Heartily RECOMMEND ATTENDING PCC.

Question
Beware that when you choose to attend PensacolaQuite BrightCommunications
Beware that when you choose to attend Pensacola Christian College, that it is your decision. Many do not take their time seriously there because they have been sent because of the low tuition by their mommy and daddy.

This is ridiculous thought, but it is widespread on campus. Students like this do not take the work seriously, and because they are not paying for it, they do not follow the rules.

The rules are apart of the school. Accept that, and research them before you make your final decision to go there. Check out different websites such as www.pensacolachristiancollege.com and various clubs with alumni in them on yahoo and msn. Keep an open mind about what you hear, and remember some students are bitter, and some have had real experiences that they will share if you are willing to listen.Make a lot of friends while you are there and trust fully in the Lord to keep you sane. If you do that, you will be fine.
