First of all, although I know that thisEducation
First of all, although I know that this has been said several times I just want say that "PCC is not for everyone", but in no way will I disrespect this college or its administration, particularly Dr. or Mrs. Horton. PCC is a choice. If you don't like rules, don't like dress codes, don't like going to church then you will be very miserable at this place. Yes, there are a LOT of rules to abide by and no, this school is Not accredited. So, why did I got to PCC? Well, I was called to be a teacher. PCC has an excellent education program, if you are going to teach in a CHRISTIAN school.

All their curriculum is self-produced and is exceptional especially in the elementary division. Bible references and the gospel is sprinkled throughout the material. They don't "dumb down" the math or reading, but make it so the student can master the concept using their own brains. They also teach phonics, which I believe is the most accurate and productive way for a student to eventually independently read. They are not accredited because they want the freedom to teach their students the way they feel they ought to be taught--that means forfeiting a lot of rauchy, explicit sexual or atheistic topics in college book material, that means being able to talk about the Lord without having to be "politically correct", that means straight talk from the Bible about pre-marital sex, homosexuality, and abortion, that means standing on the unchanging, preserved Word of God. This is why, my friend, PCC is not accredited and why this institution has stood strong for all these years and has not shut down. What about the rules, you say? Well, there are a lot of rules and some things I didn't entirely agree with, but guess what? Any where you go in life, there will be rules. When you start a career and are working under someone they will tell you how to dress, where to park, how to treat customers, and how to talk, and how to think. Can someone go to PCC and actually survive? My answer is yes, if God has called you there. He will also be the one to open doors when it is time to get a job. If you are looking for a school that features Christian-rock bands, midnight bashes, and partying this is not the place for you.

It's not as bad as most people say. I thought it would be a lot harder and I definitely thought they'd be stricter. It's actually suits me, but it's not for everyone.

Question
PCC is a good college.PreLaw and Legal
PCC is a good college. Many people put it down, but the academic standards are reasonably high. I encourage the prospective student to contrast PCC with Ivy League schools, all of which, except one, have failed to live up to their original Christian founding. Do not be discouraged that PCC is not accredited. It is to their credit. They avoid intervention from outside sources that would overrule the Christian mission and character of the college. Stringent rules are necessary to keep PCC from falling into the unchristian ranks of America's founding colleges and universities. The campus is impressive, and you can receive a good education from this place. I reccommend PCC but only if the prospective student takes the time to find out what he will face. A visit is strongly reccommended.
