This is some hints while attending PCC:AverageUndecided
This is some hints while attending PCC:

1.)on sundays, after church , RUN !!!!! if you dont you
will not eat...
2.) on sunday afternoons, napping in the afternoon is the
thing that everyone does...
3.) always make fun of the couples doing the "PCC STARE"
4.) all the money you pay PCC goes towards another palm
tree. i know for a fact that one palm tree
cost atleast $5,700. and look how well populated pcc
is with palm trees.

5.) vespers are once a month-they bite !!!
6.) fine arts, there are some fun ones but mainly it is
a waist of time. you are considered "uncool" if you
dont ahve a date to fine arts, but then if you do
have a date, your friends critisze on all the things
wrongwith him. or they are busy themselves trying to
get with him. have fun !!
7.) they tell you every other chapel service basically
"if you can not stay at pcc, you can go on contract"
because of financial reasons... thats a bunch of crap
they send you to mr.pricketts office, he spends
like 10 minutes with you going over your bill, then
he says that you have been denied for contract for
whatever reason. trust me i know!!!
8.) If anyone questions you about anything, remember:

you've heard no evil, you've spoken no evil, and
you've seen no evil...
9.) make sure you write your name on everything you own
if you want to keep it... stuff does get stolen and
umbrellas are "hot" items at pcc...
10.) most impotatnt of all, the faculty of pcc is not
always right. they will deceive you and throw "their"
beliefs at you and they expect you to be hooked onto
their every word. if you do attend pcc, please do not
change your beliefs... your religion is very sacred to
you and you should not let anyone tell you that what
you believe is wrong. your beliefs are your religion.
your religion is who you are and what you stand for.
dont let anyone tell you different...

Question
Pcc is a decent college.BrightNursing
Pcc is a decent college. the only reason you should ever think of considering pcc is if you are 100% sold out to god. otherwise, you better run far away and dont look back.. my time at pcc was good and bad. the good parts were playing pranks on suitemates and floorleaders. the bad part was being in dc (disciplinary committee) every tuesday 3rd hour. (never pick your dc time during your lunch hour...trust me you'll be sorry!!). they have all these "unwritten rules" that will land you demerits at a time. trust me ... in my first semester i received 147 demerits and 150 is the limit before they ask you too leave.. thats their way of telling you get out you sinner , your bound for hell... anyway, the nursing program is good, but so incredibly hard. i was always and still am a "c" student . at pcc i was still maikn "c"'s and all but an occasional "d" would slip in. and nursing majors can not have below a "c". and then there is this thing of being in the 90 percentile.. in a nutshell:

always make fun of the couples doing the "PCC STARE" and most important of all DONT GO TO PCC, YOU'LL BE SORRY!!!

they will give you evry excuse to WHY you desreve the demerits... oh yeah, future nursing majors, make sure you get mr.knowles as your teacher for everything he teaches... his stories are awesome . his jokes are corny but you 'll laugh everytime .....i promise... oh yeah, in conclusion i would like to say " please think real hard before you make your desicion about pcc.. you'll regret it !!! CATCH THE SPIRIT SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!!!

Question
Pcc is the type of place for shelteredBrightOther
Pcc is the type of place for sheltered children who are afraid to think and make personal and moral choices based on their own convictions and beliefs. i dont have a problem with most of the rules, even though i hate being told what to do constantly. i believe the worst thing about the college are the other students who are constantly looking to 'write-up' other students. for instance, this past year in my prayer-group there was a freshman who was nice enough, a little on the weird side, who was instructed by the administration to stand in the foyer of the crown center and write-up couples who (God forbid) touched so that they could get socialed. he wasn't paid to do this, it was just his 'christian service'. pcc is a college of over 4000 students. yet, there is no internet at all on the campus. (for a fee, international students can use the schools e-mail with up to five addresses) basic rights such as being able to leave campus to go to the store are revoked when you reach 75 demerits (I've only done that once)and the right to talk with members of the opposite sex is taken away when you commit some sort of sexual sin (ie even talking to a girl in the library)

i could go on for days about all the crap that goes on at pcc. (a special thanks to all my friends who've put up with it for the last 4 weeks) but the fact is the administration cares more about the 'testimony' of the school then the students. every rule can be linked to having a good 'testimony'; but after working off campus and talking to people in the community, pcc doesn't have a good testimony. the college (and students) are seen as stuck-up snobs who are too holy for everyone else. sometimes I wonder how a school of 4000 christians can have such a small spiritual influance on a city. students are not allowed to work at local churches (campus church is not a real churhc by the way) and our witness is almost non-existant. overall pcc is doctrinaly sound, but that is the only positive thing a can say about it. Im a jr. missions major
