Question
PCC education was great in my opinion, butComputer Science
PCC education was great in my opinion, but beware of the regulations, petty rules and lack of accreditation. You will not get into any good MBA program with a degree from PCC. Some from PCC try to say that accreditation = compromise. I say it equals a certain standard that PCC can not meet. Before I would send my kids to this school, I would look at other Christian colleges that meet those standards. Did those schools compromise? You'll have to be the judge, but to benefit students, I admire colleges that go the extra step to be accredited.

Also do not be convinced that everyone that speaks up negative about the school is a drop out, been expelled, etc. I went four years, have a BS degree, had no problems while there, and am not disgruntled. I chose to go there. But there are better colleges out there.

As far as my degree, it helped me very much with my job and career. I have no problem with the academics and thought those were above and beyond. My degree was in computer science and accounting.

The Christian environment is a bit legalistic and if you do not believe the way PCC wants you to believe, you should expect to keep quiet or go elsewhere. You will not be treated as an adult, and you are never trusted.

I personally think a young person will grow spiritually at this college, but will suffer in the maturation process. I would seriously look at going to another college, and do not let PCC make you feel guilty or make you think your child is not a "Christian" for saying no to them. I believe this school is near to being a cult.

Question
The nursing program at PCC is of theNursing
The nursing program at PCC is of the most excellent quality; I however would not recommend anyone attending this college unless you already live in town and are completely willing to have every moment of your college life dictated. I am grateful for the education I received, and am not one to complain. Nevertheless, I definitely do not recommend this school, with its hypocritical administration and rules, to anyone. You may think, "I have heard so much negativism about PCC. Surely it couldn't all be true." I promise, it is.
