Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I believe that I was well-prepared as aMusic - Performance
I believe that I was well-prepared as a result of my undergraduate studies. I was fortunate to have good teachers who provided advice and guidance in addition to high-quality instruction. I remain in contact with the professor whom I consider to be my mentor and the most important influence in my life as a musician. He still is willing to offer advice and support, and I am deeply grateful to him for that.

I had no trouble getting into a top-notch graduate school. Other PCC graduates applied to this same school, and were not accepted there. So what does that say about the fact that PCC is not accredited? Maybe those who complain about it are just hiding their own imcompetence. After all, college is really what you make it, regardless of what college you attend.

Unfortunately, I found the attitude of many in administration very difficult to accept. I know that submission to authority is Biblical, but it often seemed strange to me that those in authority were so unlike the Christ of my (KJV) Bible. Yet they claimed to be under the authority of God, who placed them in a position of authority over us . . . and suddenly we didn't seem to be much different than my Catholic friends.

It saddens me when I read the publications that PCC sends to its alumni. I regularly receive some video or book that preaches their obsession with the KJV. I wonder what they would say to those in Germany who still read Luther's translation? Would that be acceptable, or should they be reading a German translation of the KJV?

I would advise anyone considering PCC to think carefully before making their decision. I know many who thrived there. I also know some whose lives were shattered, when they could have been healed. Choose wisely.

Question
As a nursing major, I expected more thanQuite BrightNursing
As a nursing major, I expected more than I received in my education. By the end of my sophomore year, I wanted to attend a different university. However, my 2 years invested at PCC would not transfer due to the fact that PCC is unaccredited. Knowing that I would have to basically re-do my first two years of college, I just decided to finish my last two years at PCC. My education was sub-standard. During my senior year, I had a graduate student teaching one of my classes who had just graduated the previous year. No experience to be had there. As it goes with nursing, the important thing is to pass state board examination. Fortunately, no accreditation is needed to take that exam. What matters is that you pass. Once your nursing license is in hand, a hospital will hire you. They do not care where you got your degree from. I have since had a successful career in nursing over the past nine years, but to this day, I wish I had gone somewhere else.

Question
This school is perfect for people who cannotSuper BrilliantCommunications
This school is perfect for people who cannot stand on their own two feet and make smart decisions for themselves. If you like to be manipulated and reprimanded for anything "normal" in life, then I would say this would be your best choice for school. They do have a good education program, but I would say that's mainly only if you wanna be something general, like a teacher. My advice: don't go here. Trust me, I spent 3 years there.
