The teachers in the Criminal Justice program wereAverageCriminal
The teachers in the Criminal Justice program were incredible. What they teach really happens in your every day life in the criminal justice system. I would not go to another school when it comes to the Criminal Justice program. I had a teacher who was secret service agent for over 20 years, a michigan state police officer in the sex crime unit for 20 years and the list goes on!!! When it comes faculty and the rules, well that is a different story.

Question
I found PCC to be a wonderful experience!Education
I found PCC to be a wonderful experience! I was very prepared to enter the classroom as a teacher. Since graduation, I have encountered other teachers who graduated from other Christian colleges, but they were no where near as prepared as they should have been. Hands down, Pensacola Christian education grads know what they are doing because of the excellent preparation. If you are interested in becoming a teacher, PCC is the best place to prepare you for it!

Question
Had a very good experience and learned someSuper BrilliantComputer Science
Had a very good experience and learned some good things to assist in my career. PCC is a Christian school. If you're not like minded in your philosophy, this isn't the place for you. They're very upfront about that in their literature--and in the name of the institution!

I can't say I always agreed with the school, but then after completing a graduate degree at a state university, I'd say the same thing about that school. PCC is a crucible. If you're not a Christian and are intent to live a worldly life, then PCC is not the place for you. You'd be better off going elsewhere. If you do go to PCC, you'll be miserable. That's not their fault. People who don't agree to comply with the school's values are not allowed to drag the rest of the student body down. I'm thankful for this. I'm thankful for a school where I didn't have to worry about not being able to sleep before exams due to loud parties next door. I'm thankful I don't have to worry about my car being vandalized by the group of students hanging out in the parking lot drinking. I'm thankful that a professor isn't going to "make" me write a paper advocating a philosophy I disagree with just to earn a good grade. These were all concerns in my graduate work. There are things about PCC that I'd love to see changed. Some of those things have changed since I graduated. I'm thankful that this school is where the Lord brought me for my undergraduate work. If the Lord leads you here, he'll uphold, guide, and protect you. If you couldn't care less about such things, then go to a different school. You'll be miserable at PCC (by design).
