Pensacola is a great School! It is notSuper BrilliantOther
Pensacola is a great School! It is not for everyone. If you like to have fun, go on a date, stay up later than your parents, not sleep in church, go on the internet, have a normal job, say the words "sucks, crap, frick", spend thanksgiving with your family, walk on the beach with your girlfriend, give a friend of the oposite sex a high five, or do anything resembling a normal life, I would not recomend the colleg. However if you've had your eyes on a good cult, it might be for you.

Question
First of all, I'd like to say thatMusic - Performance
First of all, I'd like to say that PCC is not for everyone. I believe that only those who are called by God and willing to surrender all to Him will come out on top. I am currently a music teacher at a Christian School and I would have to say that PCC prepared me tremendously for my occupation. The most important thing is to go to PCC with an open-mind. You hear so many things (good and bad) about PCC--You have to find out for yourself. I certainly had my times of complaing and I definately did not agree with every single rule, but where do you agree with everything? I get very irritated with people who do nothing but bad mouth PCC and have the nerve to cuss while doing so. It is very obvious to me that a person like that would not make it at PCC, not because of what PCC said or did, but because obviously the person is not right with God anyway. The Bible speaks very clearly about using the Lord's name in vain and keeping your tongue from evil. I would hope that no one truly seeking a Christian education would take advice from such vial languaged people. You have to be willing to go along with their rules and that is not acting like a horse-whipped animal that's just following God's will for your life if that is where you're called. I thank God for my 4 years at PCC because I've learned to obey my authority. I work in a very secular workplace during the summer and, believe it or not, they still have rules that I have to follow that are sometimes stupid. Are they biblical rules? No, but that is what my employer has set up and I knew the rules before I worked there. Therefore, I have no one to complain to but myself. Check out PCC before you go. READ THE HANDBOOK--they don't just make it up to look good. They really follow it--Imagine that! If they didn't follow it, we'd be in bigger trouble because we would have no idea what to expect. As for people getting dismissed and everything being very quiet about it, I appreciate that because only NOSY people want the scoop (or dirt). They do that so people's lives aren't ruined. If they told everyone then people would have a record all over the world because we all no we call home and tell our parents what people were kicked out for. They do it for the sake of the people so they don't have a reputation for one little mistake. However, they must dismiss people in order to maintain their standards and policies. My advice to prospective students is to check it out for yourself. PCC has made me more bold in standing up for what I believe in and not being a doormat that people walk all over. Even my secular workplace will verify that. PCC does have a great reputation. I have a PCC license plate on my vehicle and everywhere I go people talk to me about PCC and how they watch Rejoice on television. My educational experience there was wonderful! The quality was great and I loved the faculty. The faculty truly cared for you and prayed for you! You could go to them with any problem. Again, I will say that not everyone is called to go to PCC, however if you are truly called to PCC and go with a heart surrendered to God you will truly benefit from PCC.

Question
There never has been a doubt in myQuite BrightEducation
There never has been a doubt in my mind that the Lord led me to PCC. I did receive an excellent education and have been grateful for my training as a teacher. However, since graduating PCC I have had numerous nightmares(for real) that I have been forced to return and that I've been stripped of my degree because my present life did not meet their legalistic standards. Grace, although it is a five letter word, was equivalent to a four letter word at PCC. In God's amazing sovereignty, He gave me Calvinistic roomies and through His Word led me to the realization of how good and faithful He is and of His awesome grace!!! I NEVER heard that preached and rarely saw it lived out except in the lives of a few dear teachers. Administration: nasty, nasty people. I was a good student, kept my mouth shut most of the time and saw so many godly friends kicked out for the most assanine reasons. Even when they plead not-guilty their side was rarely voiced. I was blessed to have friends there that kept me accountable, especially by my senior year when i was struggling with extreme bitterness. The day of graduation I felt almost numb. I just wanted off campus and I haven't looked back. I've no doubt PCC would have no problem criticizing my life now: tattoos, piercings, a charismatic reformed church (Soveriegn Grace Ministries, CHECK IT OUT!!!) but I have never been under better teaching or experienced more fully the joy of delighting in the Lord. Go John Piper!! I can't say I would change anything, the Lord wanted me at PCC and I probably wouldn't be where I am in my life now without it. I was forced to delve into scripture and know what God's Word had to say, not what man's take on scripture was. I would never have gone on the mission field without PCC and probably wouldn't be involved with Sovereign Grace Ministries today. I still pray for God's grace to heal my many friends who turned their backs on Christianity because of the abuse they endured in the name of Christ at PCC. I cannot imagine how the Lord's heart sorrows over those lost. We are all accountable for our own actions, but my heart wonders at how the Lord will deal with authority at PCC. May the grace of our God be with you, now and always may you stay faithful till He comes. A daughter of grace.
