PCC was an awful place.Religion/Religious
PCC was an awful place. They actually used to come around with rulers to measure that men and women didn't sit any closer than 6 inches apart. I made some good friends there -- in fact, the student body was the one redeeming quality. However, the school itself was a horrible experience. The education was substandard and the picture of Christianity they paint is almost entirely without grace. I wouldn't wish this school on anybody.

Question
The quality of education stank.BrightEducation
The quality of education stank. The majority of the faculty didn't even hold earned graduated degrees from other universities. Many had their (masters and that's it) from PCC. No diversity, no challenge, nothing. I even had fresh PCC grads with no advance degree teaching me in junior level and senior level classes.

Question
Let me just say that Pensacola Christian CollegeCommunications
Let me just say that Pensacola Christian College is anything but Christian! PCC tries to portray: We care about you(but they don't). Sure, the campus may look beautiful and show smile faces on their brochures, but don't be fooled! I went there for one year in 1999-2000,(I transferred to TTU) and still hate thinking about that one year! That is definitely ranked at the top w/ the worst experiences I've ever had! I'm just gonna give you a few examples of the things that happened to me. First off, sitting in English class one day I get a dean's slip(this means you have to report to the dean's office pronto). Yes, that was embarrassing to be yanked out of class in front of 50 ppl! And you wanna know what it was for...something that didn't even happen. Apparently somebody thought they saw me take a girl who was campused(this means you can't leave the campus) off campus w/ me in my car. This girl had never even gone off campus w/ me...ever...neither had she ever even sat in my car. And even if this had happened it wasn't an issue that needed to be dealt w/ right then and there while I was in class! Another thing that happened had to do w/ the hose wearing rule(girls have to wear hose on and off campus at all times). I serioulsy could not wear hose b/c of health reasons...I even had a valid doctor's note. To make a long story short...I was made to wear them regardless. That just shows PCC does't care about the individual. Lastly,(even though I could go on and on and on...and on) for a broadcasting class that I took we were required to stay after church to watch a rehearsal for next week's singing group that would sing in church. I was appalled by what I saw! The director was telling the singers when to look up towards heaven! That is not worship! That is a performance! God is not interested in us performing for Him, but in our humble worship and adoration. I walked back to my dorm that night furious. I did not want to be a part of something fake! If you are considering this college.....don't! There are better colleges out there. This one will just make you bitter! It really is like living in a concentration camp...oh I forgot...this was just something petty but so retarded. You have to have your bed made by 7 I think it is...even if you don't have class until 9:45. So I had to sleep on top of my bed spread every night just so I wouldn't get in trouble for not having my bed made in the morning even though I was still sleeping. Yeah, that's definietly extreme!
