I survived a semester and two weeks.Quite BrightUndecided
I survived a semester and two weeks. I, an adult, kissed my girlfriend, also an adult, and my buddies tattled. I enjoyed the kiss and it was worth it.

Pensacola Christian College breeds self righteousness, arrogance, and deception. It is not the cause of any of these, our sinful hearts are, however the atmosphere at PCC brings these traits out, and frankly promotes them.

What saddened me most about my experience was to see my best friends encouraged to turn on me for the sanctity of the school's rules rather than the condition of my heart. Thankfully, by God's grace alone, my experience at PCC has been used to God's glory, but I will always remember the sting of betrayal and pangs of loneliness.

Bottom line, if your considering PCC, take heed to the other reviews, visit (not during college days), and know what you're getting yourself into, also be prepared to question the trust of the students and faculty. My recommendation: There are too many schools in this country to settle on PCC. As a Christian I recommend not going to a Christian school, yes it will be less comfortable at times, but you will get a much better educational experience and christian growth does not come when your comfortable.

Question
Ok, i just want to start out sayingBrightArt & Design Department
Ok, i just want to start out saying that i used to be one of those pcc lovers in high school who was constantly prmoting the college "PCC is not that bad - you get used to the rules. Come to PCC - it's in Florida!" Well, ignorance is bliss. I just finished my first semester at PCC and, let me tell ya, it SUCKED! First off, we were devastated by the hurricane that was "not going to hit us"(the words of Dr. Mullenix) The school totally lied about the hurricane, lied about the damage, lied about the circumstances. The rules are more than dumb - they're damaging. I have had comtinual nightmares about meeting off campus is "mixed groups." Oh yeah, the entire Communicative Arts builing is considered "unchaperoned" meaning if you even strike up a "how's it goin" conversation, you could be socialed for two weeks. And for those people out there who blissfully do not know what that means, it means you cannot talk to the opposite sex for two weeks. The art program is pretty good, but i would say there is a lack of creativity. So, it you wanna go through 4 years of torture at a very cheap price and get an education along with it, go to PCC

Question
Above we are asked to not "reply" toBrightEducation
Above we are asked to not "reply" to other reviews and I will no reply specifically to any. I honestly was close to tears as I read all of these sad reviews of a wonderful school. To anyone who is reading these please consider this: in life who do you hear from more, happy people or mad people? If you go through a drive through and the order that comes to you is right, how many people look at the person working the window and say, "Thank you for getting my order right." Realistically, those who the person working at the window will hear from is the person who is angry because their order is wrong--the person who threatens to never eat hear again because that person made a mistake. Honestly, I myself rarely am that one to make a positive comment on a job well done. We do live in a very negative society. With road rage, "my rights" promoters, people looking for a free dollar because they were "done wrong", etc. we hear the negative side of everything. Please don't take the number of negative comments on here as "proof" that PCC is a "bad place". On the contrary, if you are not a rebellious "buck-the-system" type person, PCC may be for you. But seek God's will, not these opinions. I challenge anyone who is feeling that God may be leading in the direction of PCC to go visit the campus for himself/herself. Talk to the student body. Get many opinions. Stay in the dorm. Seek to know for yourself. DON'T CLOSE OUT GOD'S WILL BECAUSE WHINERS OUT-NUMBER THE PRAISERS IN THIS WORLD. Pray. Seek the Lord. PCC is not a cult, it is a place that is set apart for the training of Christian young people. If PCC is not God's will for you, please don't hurt the wonderful student body by becoming a part of it. If it is God's will, come, knowing that God has a wonderful plan for you, and He is going to accomplish that plan through what He does in your heart and life at PCC. I love this place and it hurts to think that some people may get an unrealistic view. Come see for yourself what the truth is. I challenge you.
