Positive Negative Neutral Advice
The fact that PCCBusiness - Management and Administration
The fact that PCC is unaccredited has given me the most grief over the years. It has led to several obstacles which I have since overcome since I have earned a Master's Degree from an accredited institution. On the other hand, the atmosphere is enriching both spiritually and relationally.

Question
I can't write anything truly different about PCCBrightReligion/Religious
I can't write anything truly different about PCC then has already been written by the negative commenters except for this: they will keep any mail they consider "un-Godly" from students living in the dorms. Most of that postage is bulk mailing, but I would not be suprised if love letters from "the girl back home" were held (and possibly read) as well. Holding or destroying the mail is a federal offence and yet the college has been doing that for years. Also, may I remind any potential students that the school is unaccredited, so your work might not transfer if you change schools. Some of the Southern colleges will allow PCC work, but it is up to their disgression. In conclusion, the college is not worth the misery you put up with for the degree.

I graduated from PCC and have been recommending people stay away ever since.
I actually was born again right before attending PCC, and was looking forward to the challenging, useful, Christian education I was going to get. Well, the education was taught from a 'Christian' perspective, but it was neither challenging and of course is totally useless because of the lack of accreditation. I married a doctor and we laugh about how we could shred my degree (I actually don't even know where it is), but we should frame hers in gold just to show the difference of value in our education.Anyway, I never progressed as a Christian while at PCC. I regressed. I know that I can't put the blame on PCC for my spiritual failures, but they do not provide an environment where a young Christian can grow. As a Christian, I ended up confused, angry, and bitter about spiritual things. By my junior year I was just hoping to get kicked out so I could go somewhere else. I skipped Bible Conference, went off campus with women, went to Panama City for Spring Break, went to movies, went to Hooters, etc. you name it. I fell back into almost the same lifestyle I lived before Christ. After I left PCC, I got into a good church under good leadership and made good friends who showed me what real Christianity was about. My brother went to PCC and is a godly pastor (not in the PCC mold) and doesn't recommend PCC - that should tell you something. Go somewhere else - God wants you to follow Him because YOU want to, not because an institution does.
