First off let me say that i onlyBrightArt & Design Department
First off let me say that i only went to pcc for one year , not because i didnt like it there, but because that is all the longer the LORD wanted me to be there. i had gone to a christian school my whole life and i have seen way too many of my classmates and graduates of my school go down the drain spiritually whille attending a state or non christian school. but none of these people really seemed to bother me to much. it wasnt until my brothers christian walk went to pieces that i realized something had to be done. its a simple fact that some people just arnt cut out for full time christian service. me being one of them. my whole family (me and my 2 brothers) are all.... well geeks. we love stuff that normall people dont. i love maps, drawing, architecture , and engineering. while my other brothers like HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and computers electrical stuff and meteorology. all things that are not offered at ANY christian college. so what are we to do if we want a Christ centered education while also learning to do what God has given us the skills for and has cleary shown us what to do. honestly theres not much we can do. thats why i decided (with Gods help) to attend Pcc for only 1 year. i went there to get a better Biblical foundation so i could handle the REAL world while attend a state school. and thats what i did. i have no regrets of going to Pcc . many (even my close friends) criticize me for wasting my time and money by going there for only one year when hardly any of my credits transferred, but i see it as the most important decision of my life. you see i would never of been strong enough to make it in a state school, sooner or later i would have given into the devil and what he wants me to do so my life would be ruined and unuseful for God. and dont even think for once that you are strong enough to handle 4 years of state education without being corrupted, cause you cant. my brother (who was the strongest young christian i knew) couldnt even handle 2 years of it . he went into school with a good testimony, christian girlfriend, and pure. and now hes got a gothic girlfriend, is no longer a virgin ,and drinks .

i was in the commercial art program at pcc .many will tell you that they came out of the program and cant do anything with whaT they went to college for, well let me tell you something. i was only in the art program for one year. i am now atending a state college in NY for architecture and the art courses i took at pcc are the reasons for my success up here. i have more creativity, better design principles, better attendence, and more respect than the other students in my class. the teachers love me cause i respect them and do what they ask of me. they know they can ecspect me to do good work. my teacher told me last month at the end of my 1st semester that the 3D model i built was the best she haD seen come out of the school, and that i was above and beyond her juniors. let me remind you that i just finished up my FIRST semester. i dont give my success for that model to the teachers at my present school, because they never evn taught us how to build models(thats not until the 3rd year) it was just xtra credit. i give the success of that model to my teachers at PCC (especially MR. DIGANGI) he taught me everything i needed to know. also some call it a cult and all ill say to you people is if you think that preaching the Gospel living Godly lives and trying to pass what they know on to others as a cult then you have got some answering to God coming up one day. yes they are human and at least they are trying. dont try to tear down a college that is obviously ordained by God. cause the devil is doing a good job by getting you too.

While some things may not be that great about the college, I will never regret my four years. You have to know going into it that the main goal there is to build your character, not your wealth...

Question
PCC is not the place to go, notBrightAccounting
PCC is not the place to go, not because og the rules there fine and you can get through them fine. The problem is there is no trust there and they hide anything that goes on. During my freshman year there was a person counterfeiting money right in the dorm. Next year drugs in the dorm and the list goes on. I have had friends spied on and accused of things they never did. If a visiting prospective student visits and you say anything negative about the school and they find out you are kicked out. They only want to show the good side of the school and will purposely make for example when college days come the school food all of a sudden becomes better but when the parents and prospective students leave the good food is gone. If I had the money I would leave but I am stuck there. I don't recommend this school to anybody. You are treated like a little kid and not an adult.
