Pensacola is the college for you if youEducation
Pensacola is the college for you if you want to live in what I call a bubble. You will be told when to go to bed and when and where you can talk to members of the opposite sex. You will be "checked out" as you leave your dorm, and given demerits if you are not in complete compliance to the very strict dresscode (girls, this means skirts and hose every day, and guys, this means ties every morning). You cannot ever leave campus without checking out on the computer or getting a pass. And education majors, lookout-you will be well prepared to teach, but you will have a very hard time if you ever choose to get state certified (you may not want this now, but you may find that your circumstances change in the future). So, if these things and much more are for you, than so is PCC.

Look at the comments below. If more than half of the students attending a school have bad things to say- take a wild guess what kind of experience you are LIKELY to have if you attend PCC? I read this comment below in a 'good' review: "...while it is true that PCC has a strict set of standards by which students are expected to live, the result of going to college there will be your becoming a more mature Christian, providing you keep your heart right." Sorry, no. You can have a right heart before God and still be stuck with horrendous heartless policy. Example: I was told not to come back during a summer between semesters and not told why. When I returned in the fall, I was on probation and couldn't get over 75 demerits. I forgot to go to video church once ('makeup church' if you stayin your room sick) and they slapped me with 50 demerits which pushed me over the limit. The deans were essentially merciless the whole time and I couldn't do anything about it. I wasn't committing great and greivous sins. I forgot to go to a required event!!! If you have a bad memory, don't go to PCC. You will pay for it! If you have a mind of your own- you will pay for it! there are no such concepts as 'freedom of speech,' 'free-enterprise' or 'freedom to peaceably assemble.' Your only freedom is 'If you don't like it-leave.' So i'm saving you the trouble now. Don't go to PCC or you will regret it for the rest of your life.

Question
I attended PCC for 1 semester and leftBrightCriminal
I attended PCC for 1 semester and left to attend another consevative religious school where there were rules, but rules with a purpose where one's conscience and relationship with God were the major guiding factors. If you find a group of friends that you can trust and don't mind living with breaking most of the rules, then you can live a normal life. A normal life is one where you are just having a good time without even doing doing anything morally wrong, although, you will be violating many of the ridiculous regulations that PCC has put in place to keep you "pure". The campus is beautiful and the facilities are great, especially for the price you pay in money. The price you pay for not attending an accredited college, the price you pay for being watched at every turn, the price you pay in not enjoying your college days will be too high.
