Let me begin by saying that PCC isQuite BrightEducation
Let me begin by saying that PCC is non-accredited, which means that most employers WILL NOT HIRE YOU if you have a degree from PCC. Secondly, unless you enjoy being yelled at, criticized, talked down to, stared at because of your "immodest" clothing, prohibited from going anywhere fun whatsoever, and watched over like you're five years old, DO NOT GO TO PCC. I survived PCC (Pensacola Concentration Camp) for a full year, but I cried at least once a day. I'm a Christian, and I don't think that I'm a weak one, either, but PCC made me feel guilty, insignificant, and hopeless. It's more of a cult than anything. They want you to think that you're a sinner, that the rest of the world is evil, and that you should basically live in seclusion for the rest of your life if you ever want to be "clean" enough for God. After going to church about 10x a week, they brainwash you pretty well. I even began to think that, since I was not the "perfect" Christian, I should hate myself for being the kind of Christian that I was. (I want to say more about PCC, but there's just too much to say). Overall, I believe that there is a difference between a religion and a cult, and PCC is a cult.

On the positive side, I'm glad that I went to PCC for the one year that I did. I learned a lot: how to break rules and get away with it, how to lie really well (it's the only way to survive sometimes), and how to pretend like you're awake in church, but actually be sleeping. No, but really, I learned a lot academically. The standards at that school are amazing. They pushed me (and stressed me out) more than I have ever been pushed in my life. I learned a lot, but the pressure from the faculty (and even other students) was just too much for me. If you're looking to go to a college that is fun, educational, and religious, GOOD FOR YOU, but PCC is not that college.

Question
Like any school, this one has its prosMusic - Performance
Like any school, this one has its pros and cons. For me, this school has more pros. Before I came, I was not an ultra-Fundamentalist. I was a Christian who wanted to do what was right. The only people you really have to worry about the the dean's assistants and the resident managers. They can be slightly intimidating. The teachers that I have had are wonderful. Yes, they can be challenging, but they genuinely care about us. If someone can't put up with a few rules so they can get a quality-filled and Bible-based education, something is up. PCC is not for everyone, but pray and check it out for yourself before you rely on other people's opinions (good or bad.) If God does not call you to PCC, don't worry. God still loves and there are other wonderful Christian colleges.
