PCC gave me a good education, not well-roundedPerfomance Arts
PCC gave me a good education, not well-rounded as it did not prepare me for the real world of professionalism, but it was a good level of education, a level that allowed me to move to graduate studies with confidence. However, the "hand-held" approach to learning facilitated at PCC did not prepare me for the "hands off" approach of the graduate and professional level. PCC does too much "hand holding" in regards to their educational practices as well as their governing of the student body's daily activites. My advice to students considering PCC woud be to please do some research to determine whether or not you can handle all the "hand-holding." Because if not, you'll be wasting a lot of time and money!

Question
The school was very controlling in a badArt & Design Department
The school was very controlling in a bad way. One could not grow as a person/individual because of the restrictions. True identities were hidden because of the mold everyone was to fit. I would have given more thought to other institution opportunities, like Bob Jones University, simply because of accreditation. Employers do take into consideration your alma mater. Advice to H.S.: Reevaluate your consideration for the school. Visit the school NOT on the over-hyped 'College Days' and see what the school is really like. If you are an extremely sheltered, home-schooled individual this place is for you. But if you are normal like 90% of the U.S.A. please consider an alternative.

Question
College definitely helped me.Education
College definitely helped me. God directed me in so many ways at PCC. God used Pastor Schettler, the other preachers, my teachers and my friends to show me things I needed to do to make me a better Christian and now a teacher. The education experience at the academy helped me tremendously with how to handle parents and students. Being able to observe the different teachers throughout the fours, has been an excellent help. I have repeated read over my observation papers for help or ideas.
