Do lots of research before you visit PCC.Bright
Do lots of research before you visit PCC. The things that go on in the school you would not believe until your actually inrolled. I spent 5 years of my life there. It turned out to be a big loss of my time and energy. I was not trained with the type of programs I needed to find work. It has been the worst decision I made to attend Pensacola Christian College. The administration will NOT tell you up front that the school in NOT accredited. That can really cause problems later down the road, especially if your wanting to teach at an accredited school. Good Luck!

Question
I went to Pensacola Christian for two fullQuite BrightAccounting
I went to Pensacola Christian for two full years. Having come from a Christian background, I expected all of the rules and the strict atmosphere of the campus. However, what Penacola Christian College fails to realize is that the students are adults and capable of making their own decisions. Having been out in the real world for a couple of years since Pensacola, I have to admit that Pensacola does nothing to prepare its students for the real world. They provide a sheltered, surreal-type atmosphere for the students that only makes them more unprepared for the real world. The only time PCC works is when its students stay in that sheltered existence after school by either staying at PCC or joining some other close-minded society. I would definitely recommend PCC for its academics; however, I would not want my children to go to a college that shelters them from making their own mistakes. Once you turn 18, you are old enough to make your own decisions, make your own mistakes, and learn from them. When Pensacola Christian College begins treating their students like the adults they are, then I would possibly consider recommending the school to my friends and family.
