Just don't do anything stupid, and if youBrightNursing
Just don't do anything stupid, and if you do, keep your mouth shut! That is the key to surviving, most people who get the boot talked to someone, normally a friend who got a guilty conscience. One the plus side, PCC has one of the best nursing programs in the country. I loved almost all of my instructors, and felt that they really loved in cared for me. I will admit that some of the nsg instructors should get more hospital experience before teaching other. PCC is a very strict school. I felt many of the rules were stupid, but if you are friendly and outgoing, yet keep a low profile with the big-wigs (or suck up to them:-) you should be ok. The most demerits I got was 57, I had 2 semesters with none, and I broke the rules often, so it is pretty easy to get away with the little stupid things if you are smart. Again, just don't talk! And if you do go to PCC, just have fun. Make friends, and accept the rules. Don't rationalize them, or try to get around all of them, just do it! No one (normally) forced you to go there, so just get over it. I made some of the best friends I will ever have there, met my husband there, and even keep in touch with some instructors. And I had no problem getting a job after school. I don't think most nsg majors have a problem with the whole accredidation thing. And the nsg program isn't accredited, it is just approved by the FL State Board of Nsg, which is required for anyone to take the NCLEX. Which I passed in less than 1/2 hr with the minimal questions the first time! Go nsg instructors!

Question
PCC was a life changing experience.Education
PCC was a life changing experience. I am thankful that God has built a college were Christian young people can go and learn academically as well as spiritually. It is sad that many people tend to criticize PCC, when it is a place that many more people have been blessed by being there. The education I received helped me be the teacher that I am today. The example I was able to see has helped me through my daily life as well as teaching. I would recommend any Christian senior who want to follow Christ to consider PCC to further their education.
