There are no perfect schools. Not so brightMusic - Performance
There are no perfect schools. While I am not one to cut down a ministry or person, there are a few red flags. As far as education goes, the music program only provided me information on how to function in an association exactly like PCC. So, I was at a disadvantage in the real life music world. I tend to avoid telling people where I graduated from, because it has hindered rather than helped my business. The accreditation thing is a big disadvantage as well. The faculty are down-to-earth people, and are ready to help; the administration is a little out of touch with life in the real world. Most of the discipling at the college was over minor, insignificant details. I wished more emphasis was placed on relationship with God, rather than with whom we associate (or don't associate).

Question
PCC is a great school for the ChristianBrightBusiness - Management and Administration
PCC is a great school for the Christian interested in a liberal arts education. Sure, the rules might be many, but the only reason the rules were established were to help me grow in my walk with the Lord. Simply put, if your relationship with the Lord is right, you will thrive at PCC. If you are interested in having a good time and pushing the all the limits, you will struggle there. Many people who post negative things about the college are disgruntled former students. I would encourage any one considering PCC to visit the school for themselves to get a first-hand veiw about the place.

Question
PCC helped tremendously in preparing me to faceEducation
PCC helped tremendously in preparing me to face the world of students in various degrees although, when I was teaching it was in a combined classroom of first through third graders. I felt very well prepared and had other teachers comment on how well I handled the students and being able to get so much done during the day and still have time left over for fun things with the class. The faculty and other instructors were all a great help both scholastically and personally. They truly cared about you and your success as a person and as a person going into the work force. They were encouraging and helpful even when it meant taking their own personal time to help. I would recommend taking a look at the PCC website or contacting them personally...even visit the college before attending if possible. Those were the best four years of my life. What a great, positive experience!
