Rules are still just rules, they cannot backBusiness - Management and Administration
Rules are still just rules, they cannot back up some of them by scripture - don't try battle that- i battled it and it was frustrating.

Keep your head down and blend as much as possible.
I would get in trouble for my spiked hair, i played Eagles 4 yrs and was able to get away with it a little more.

Get on eagles, you get to leave campus, train hard and enjoy the fame if you can ball. do not kiss girls on campus that much.

Question
During my time at PCC I did notQuite BrightComputer Science
During my time at PCC I did not feel valued as a person and felt that I was constantly being watched and monitored by school administration. They did not trust me and I was not given a student email, which colleges are supposed to do.

While I didn't rack up anywhere near enough demerits to get expelled, they had a bazillion random rules that were hard to keep straight. They were always happy to penalize and punish but they were unwilling to provide Christian guidance and mentorship. I have never seen a college expel as many students as this college did for ridiculously petty reasons, if reasons were given at all.

The lack of accreditation is a big issue here. Looking back on that year, I feel that I was "taken in" by the administration who acted as if it was no big deal and tried to hush it up. I feel that I wasted time and money on this school.

There are teachers there know little about what they're teaching. Yes, I know that they have qualified instructors, but for a school to have any grossly unqualified instructors at all is unfair and dishonest to students and should not be tolerated.

As for being a Christian institution, I feel strongly that PCC is more cult-like than Christian. I say this because the administration was determined to control students and even faculty and staff instead of allowing God to work in your life and draw you closer to Him. Just like the Pharisees, it was easy to lose sight of God for all the blasted rules, and I know several former PCC students who lost faith in God as a result. I have not lost faith in God (I am a deeply committed Christian and active member of my church, which is Southern Baptist), but I must say that God used this year of my life to teach me what following God does not look like, as well as the dangers of legalism.

For the record, I really disliked my experience here and got out after one year. I ended up at a different Christian college that valued me as a person. I really enjoyed my time there at that college and graduated with honors. Sorry PCC incorporated, but in all Christian honesty, I just cannot give your institution a good rating.

Question
PCC's Nursing program is top notch.Nursing
PCC's Nursing program is top notch. I felt extremely prepare after graduation. I had offers from a Pediatric ICU floor and from a progressive care floor upon graduation which is saying quite a bit. The program offers almost twice as many clinical hours as other programs in the area, giving the student a lot of "hands on" time. The school itself helps you build a lot of character in a structured environment. If you are not used to structure you will probably not last long. You definitely have to be there to get an education and be focused!
