I received a two-year degree from Pensacola ChristianOther
I received a two-year degree from Pensacola Christian College, and I was EXTREMELY WELL prepared for the jobs that directly related to my degree - both in education and in work ethic! I have since obtained a bachelor's degree and a master's degree at major universities, and PCC's education was equal in quality to what I received at other institutions.

Question
I attended VA Tech for over two yearsMechanical Engineering
I attended VA Tech for over two years in the engineering department. A very good school academically, but very poor on Christ-like morals. Not impossible for a Christian to live there, but unless he attends a Bible believing church while in a non-Christian college, he is prone to go downward and be as Lot. I accepted the call to preach at VA Tech, so it is possible to be convicted and lead of God there (or similar places). However, just as Christ saved me (as I was), He leads me to be as He is...and in this case, to where He wanted me to go. PCC. It's not the only Christian college out there with disciplined godliness. Lord knows, we need discipline. I listened to every type of music (before hand), lusted on a regular basis...all the things a Christian shouldn't do according to the Scriptures. But God convicted me of these things (as a Christian...I was saved at age 7) and was lead to PCC for two full years, ultimately. It came down to this...I wanted the Lord Jesus to be honored in my life according to His Word. It cannot be done any other way outside His Word. I was amazed at the numerous hate filled comments for PCC. If a person wants to live their life their way...no college will suffice...for the person must have a willing heart to serve Christ in whatever Christ has called them to do. I dare say by some of their language and "braggings" that several are not Christians (though some may be). That is judging righteous judgement according to Proverbs 31:9. Be angry and sin not...so praying for those who have hate filled spirits is a must. May you allow Christ to penetrate your heart...and your actions will follow. PCC for engineering was great. I came from a top engineering school in the nation to a small Christian college...peace of heart speaks volumes. I was asked many times why I left VA Tech or how do I compare the two. There was no comparison. Godly principles instilled in engineering principles by qualified men...no comparison. I thank God for raising up a school (along with some other great Christian schools in America) to stand in the gap. I had enough of being a carnal Christian...it was time to get serious with my Savior who was serious about dying on the cross for my sins :) Psalm 37:4 May God keep PCC on the straight and narrow until He comes!
