Rules? Yes - of course.Education
Rules? Yes - of course. I knew about them before I went down and I was willing to accept those rules for the time I was in college. Just like with most jobs, there were things that I did not necessarily agree with, but I was willing to deal with them (or suffer the known consequences). As one who was never a floorleader, never an ensemble member, and never one of the "chosen," I still came out of PCC with a great respect for the school. I enjoy going back and visiting. I did spend 2 years as a GA - but fortunately I was a married GA and it was not that bad. Yes, living on $900 a month is a bit tough - but the only bills we had were food, phone, gas, and a car - all of which we could afford at $900 a month. If you go - know what the rules are and decide before hand if you can deal with the rules. If you cannot deal with the fules - don't go!

Question
I am a current student of Pensacola ChristianBrightNursing
I am a current student of Pensacola Christian College, and I absolutely love it. Sure, there are many rules and standards that must be met if you would like to attend this college. Some people call it prison, but I highly disagree. The rules are there to help us, and whether or not you see it, they do. As a PCC student, I am so much more disciplined than students that come from "not-so-strict" colleges. And I'm not what they would refer to as"PCC" either. I've been stopped plenty of times for a blouse being too tight or a skirt being too short. Does it give you a great feeling when you are punished for something that isn't even wrong-of course not. However, these people are doing their job and are just following the rules. When I wanted to get angry with these floor leaders, I just reminded myself to count it all joy, and tried to learn from the situation. Maybe God is trying to humble you, or test your respect for authority, who knows. If you are "right" with the Lord though, He will show you. My advice to those planning to attend PCC is to just go in it with a positive attitude, do what you are supposed to do and you'll be fine. (Bashing the school will not get you anywhere, by the way.)

Question
Want to build character and learn objectively BibleAverageEducation
Want to build character and learn objectively Bible guidelines and philosophies on Christian Education? I came to get a Christian philosophy in education, and I have learned so much more than that to prepare me as I go serve the Lord somewhere in the mission field as a teacher or another ministry. God was faithful throughout all my college career, and I got so much closer to Him.
