I just completed my freshman year there.BrightComputer Science
I just completed my freshman year there. The education is very good and the teachers are available and knowledgeable in their fields.

The student life overall is good. I have made several good friends so far.
The most annoying part about this school is the rules.
Read their rulebook and you will know what I mean.
Just a few that really annoyed me were:

roomchecks - every morning the mirrors and toilet must be
cleaned. One saturday the shower must be cleaned as well.
lights out - all lights must be out by 11 pm
a floor leader will check to see if their off
music standards - limited to hymns and classical
I realized that there is music out there that is
not good for a christian to listen to, but I think
they go a little too overboard.
video game standards - all games must be rated E.
Very annoying for me because I like to play shooters.
So before attending PCC think about what you believe.
Especially if you are a Christian. The campus has a Godlyatmosphere. If you think that you can overlook the rules that bother you then attend. Otherwise look elsewhere.

Question
I think that the PCC I attended isQuite BrightEducation
I think that the PCC I attended is much different than the one that exists today. While I was taught the PCC "line" about issues, events and philosophies, my teachers were very clear that PCC had a specific point of view for specific reasons, and often my teachers explained those as well. Often (for example, in Bible Doctrines), we were presented with PCC's position, the Scripture to back it, other positions, and the passages that were used to back them. In our education classes, while we had access to other materials and were required to use them for lesson planning, we weren't allowed to discuss other schools' education and points of view--because we weren't to "bash" other places. My teachers were not only qualified in their fields but were true scholars as well.

It seems to me that times have changed! One or two of the people who were hired while I was a student really changed the atmosphere of the school. One of them actually instructed the student body in chapel--about five years after I had been graduated--that the PCC students needed to be "foot soldiers" against the students from another university at their homes over the Christmas holidays. It seems that what was once petty and silly (too many rules, too much in loco parentis) has become sinister and vindictive.

Too bad! What a wasted opportunity!

Question
The education in myBusiness - Management and Administration
The education in my field of study was excellent. I was 100% prepared for any number of exciting job opportunities when I graduated. PCC was tough (both in its conservative atmosphere and academically), but everyone knows that going into it.
