Positive Negative Neutral Advice
Rules: Tolerable.AverageOther
Rules: Tolerable. Just because you don't like them or agree with them, doesn't mean there is something wrong with you spiritually. It's actually fairly easy to live with the rules even if you don't agree with them. But just because you don't want to live with PCC's rules doesn't mean there is something wrong with your Christian walk. It just means that it might be time for you to move on. So if you can deal with them, great. Just don't lambaste those who can't.

Accreditation: None. This has affected and will effect the trajectory of many a career. So be sure this is where God wants you.

Safety: Yes, the campus is safe, but you don't have locks on your room doors. Things do get stolen at this place. The thieves get caught, but that won't bring back your grandmother's diamond pendant.

Differences of opinion: Not really welcome, especially if you defend your position cogently and it is of an opposite stance. I had to shut my brain off a little bit to make it here. I don't think that really helped me to develop intellectually or spiritually. But I stayed and finished there. So that's on me. Don't go here thinking this is a place that will help you learn more about what it's like to live the Christian life and be comfortable sharing your faith with the world: I learned how to act and talk the way they taught me in order to survive. I became xenophobic to the point that I was uncomfortable around people I'd formerly been comfortable with. I don't see this as a good point.

Question
Overall, PCC is a good school.BrightOther
Overall, PCC is a good school.
The academics are very good. Most of the teachers are good; there are several very good and excellent teachers (Dr. Hullinger, Dr. Bucy, Dr. Huddleston...); but there are a few, only a few, that I would not recommend (Mr. Taylor - a WASTE of time).

The price is the most affordable option. If you don't have money for school, PCC will bend over backwards to help you.

Spiritual life and development are very good here. There is an abundance of great preaching from God's Word. It is a good place to grow.

There are rules. Quite a few, and many "unwritten" ones that no-one is really sure about. Most of them are good. There are a few rules I would consider to be dumb, but most of them are relatively bearable. Most of the ones I disagree with I would consider to just be silly rules.

This is a good place to meet good Christian friends who will encourage you during your time here, however long that ends up being (for quite a few it's not four years - one way or another).

Question
I would not recommend anyone attend PCC.BrightAccounting
I would not recommend anyone attend PCC. They use the KJV issue as their gospel and have caused great division amongst good Christian colleges. They are lover of rules and regulations that have nothing to do with the spiritual well being of their students. The Hortons are more about building material profit than spiritual gain and that reflects on the kind of students that attend the college. Most of their grads are arrogant and have a chip on their shoulder. Take my advice, find another Christian college that you will leave spiritually challenged and not spiritually deprived.
