I actually enjoyed my time at PCC. I made a lot of good friends, had some fun experiences, and fell in love with a wonderful man. For this reason, I'm glad I went there.
Now that I'm an adult (eek, almost 40!), I can see my time at PCC for what it was. There was good there, and there was bad there. Anyone who focuses solely on the positives or negatives is not being honest with themselves.
There is an underlying feeling of fear among the students at PCC. You never completely know when the axe will fall and you will get in trouble for something that you didn't even know was a rule.
As for the education being great, I'm afraid that a lot of people who say that don't know what the education is like in other institutions. I got a much more rounded education during my years at community college.All that said, God wanted me at PCC and I'm glad I went there.

Most of the grade ratings I gave were relatively good. However, my overall impression is negative.
PCC's facilities and campus is bar none one of the nicest I have ever seen. However, under that shiny exterior are a few major problems. The actual coursework and my teachers were pretty decent and have helped me in life. But the main problem is the attitude of the main administration toward their students.

As a "Christian" institution, they rate very poorly at treating people in a "Christ-like" manner. By that I mean that the Bible clearly teaches to love your neighbor as yourself. It would be nice if they could only grasp that concept of treating people with love instead of being so willing to jump on people the minute they make a mistake in life. When mistakes are made is when people need guidance the most, not punishment. As a result, they greatly harm the reputation of Christians who aren't all like that.
Also, I hang out at a student and alumni website called pccboard.com. When they found out I talkedto people there, they removed my name from the official PCC alumni website directory and deleted my user account. They still do this on a regular basis.
It pains me greatly to see this and I would like nothing more than to be very proud of them. I do not wish to see them fail, but I do wish to see them change their policies to show more love and compassion toward others.I think this survey backfired on them, but I hope they will read our comments seriously and consider what we have been trying to tell them for so long. I would like nothing better than to tell people where I went to school (I graduated, by the way) and have other people tell me that they have heard so much good about PCC.

“PCC gave me a good understanding of theAccounting
PCC gave me a good understanding of the accounting field and helped to lay down the principles necessary for my success in the business world. More importantly, it helped to develop my character and conscience toward God and the Bible.
I would recommend for people to attend the college, assuming they know their are a good amount of rules to follow. Looking back though, I believe the rules were for my good.
