Positive Negative Neutral Advice
If looking to learn to be a pastor/missionary/manComputer Science
If looking to learn to be a pastor/missionary/man or woman of God, I would not attend PCC. They have great character building tools in place, but have a hard time connecting students with a personal, vibrant walk with God. Their emphasis is on the external rules. I am all for rules and they are needed in a college environment but I am reminded of Ezra and Nehemiah.Ezra rebuilt the temple and then Nehemiah rebuilt the wall to protect the temple. I think that we are too busy building walls to protect a "temple" (or walk with God) that is non-existent in too many lives.

Question
I believe that I received a well-rounded education.Education
I believe that I received a well-rounded education. Excellence is something that most teachers strive to keep as a part of the education program at PCC. Like any place, PCC is not perfect, yet I feel as if I received what education I needed for the job that GOD has called me to. Because the faculty is made up of people that are not perfect, there are some things that are not "great." BUT, a student will find that out no matter where they attend school. PCC is not for every single person. They will even tell you that. THey are have a handbook which they expect to be followed, as well as reserve the right to make additional guidelines. While I do not personally hold each of their "rules" as my own convictions, I knew that I could follow them for my 4 years at PCC. If the rules are going to be an issue, then maybe PCC isn't the best place for you.If a person truly believes that God has called them to PCC, He will give you a great everall experience. (like life, not everything will be perfect. People do make mistakes.) There are a teachers, staff, and personnel that show a true Christ-like example. If you find those people, you will see that PCC is trying as best they can to teach others to be prepared for whatever ministry GOD has callled them to. Since I am in education, I cannot speak for any other major, nor would I try to. I also realize that things can change after one graduates. This review is only based on the 4 years that I spent as a college student there. Whatever happened after I graduate, I cannot comment on because it would not be fair. I walked away from PCC feeling that overall, I got the education I needed in an atmosphere that was conducive to learning.

Question
Pensacola Christian College gave me the necessary knowledgeNursing
Pensacola Christian College gave me the necessary knowledge for my field, and also helped me form a strong code of ethics. I learned many practical things in other classes and on-campus exepriences about life, relationships with other people, and my relationship with God. My teachers were all available to help and concerned in the progress of each student. The tuition was affordable, and the accomodations were very nice. If I had to start over and make the decision about which college to attend I would go back again. My brother is also a graduate and my sister is a current student.
