My favorite thing about my COLLEGE education wasBrightEducation
My favorite thing about my COLLEGE education was that I was issued HIGH SCHOOL textbooks for all of my freshman classes and even some of my sophomore classes. HIGH SCHOOL textbooks printed by A Beka Books. Wow. What high quality.

And for all the education majors posting that this is a great place to go if you want to be a teacher...don't plan on teaching in a public school if you go to PCC. But then again, I actually had an education teacher at PCC tell me that God didn't want us to teach in the public schools; He wants us all in the Christian schools teaching. I guess the public schools aren't a valid mission field.Hile Horton!

Question
I loved going to PCC.Education
I loved going to PCC. I was an El Ed major and learned everything I needed to go into my very own classroom. I feel that my education was better than that of my peers in the same field. We learned so much that when I have school-aged children, I will most definately use A beka materials. They are the best I have studied.

Question
PCC's goal is to enable students to "pillowAccounting
PCC's goal is to enable students to "pillow their heads at night with a clear conscience"; because of this, there are several rules. Had I not gone to PCC, or had PCC not had the rules they had, I probably would have done some things I would later regret. Because of PCC's rules, I don't look back on my college years with any regrets (for things I did or mistakes I made). Your college years are the years you establish your own standards and convictions, and I am grateful I was in this type of environment while I was establishing my own standards and convictions. PCC strives to build character in its students as well as train them academically. You won't find this focus on character building at other schools. The education I received was excellent. PCC Faculty are caring and approachable. They get to know their students on a personal level and pray with and for their students. PCC is not accredited, and this could create some problems. PCC does have staff members, however, who can be contacted and will help resolve any problems the lack of accreditation may cause. In my experience, the staff member who was working with me went out of his way and eventually resolved my problem.
