My years at Pensacola Christian College trained meEducation
My years at Pensacola Christian College trained me thoroughly in the field of elementary education. PCC is well known for being a birth place for Christian school teachers. Having an elementary education degree from PCC has helped me in the classroom, with parents, and with co-workers.

My recommendation for all high school students would be to go and visit all of the colleges of interest. I thought I would go to another college until I visited the campus, then I knew it was not for me. However, the minute I stepped onto the PCC campus, I knew I had found my home for the next four years. I wouldn't trade my years at Pensacola Christian College for anything.

Question
Now that I am out in the fieldCriminal
Now that I am out in the field I have found that my college has hurt me in more ways because many jobs, especialy government jobs, refuse my resume' because they have never heard of the college and/or because it is unaccreddited. The accredidation has become a huge problem as well as the lack of experience. Volunteer time does not mean a hill of beans to most organizations. I wish I would have know that I would have encountered this much problems getting a job in my field before I attend PCC for 4 years. I am grateful that God led me there and I learned a lot. I know that it was his will and that is why I attended. I reccommend that H.S or college students first look into the field they want to pursue and find out the requirements for good jobs. THen I recommend that they visit the college on a "non-college days" day. THis will help this see how the school is really run and get a better idea of what they would encounter. I found that the school perpetrated a lot during college days. As said before, It was God's plan for my life to attend and that I did. There were a lot of things i learned while attending there and my relationship with God increased but there were a lot of things outside academics that one will encounter and need to be aware of before attending. Pray and make sure that it is "Gods" will for you to attend or you will not be happy.
