Great student body veryBrightReligion/Religious
Great student body very diverse with an average faculty overall but outstanding teachers in several key fields. very easy to adjust. the rules are not bad as long as you are a discliplined person. serious work program flaws not as friendly of an atmosphere.

Question
PCC has it's ups and downs.BrightMusic - Performance
PCC has it's ups and downs. I recommend it if you are interested in a closely monitored social life or finding a spouse. I do not recommend it if you actually want a degree that is worth anything, they are not accredited and it is EXTREMELY difficult to get into another university that will accept PCC's credits. I just left after attending PCC for two years and I am having a very hard time finding a decent school that will recognize my two years of hard work as valid. Plus they don't do placement exams when you start, so you may get thrown into classes that you know nothing about (and may fail because of it). Good luck to all considering PCC. Please take these thoughts into account while praying about your decision!

Question
Pensacola Christian College is a preparing ground forBrightEducation
Pensacola Christian College is a preparing ground for the Christian who wants to let God live through him in his future home, church, and work place. If this is the reason you are considering PCC, then you would love your time there. The faculty really cares about the students, the preaching and Bible teaching is in line with the Word of God, the classes are profitable, and the extra-curricular activities are very enjoyable. I especially loved dorm life at college. There are people that have come for other reasons, and these tend to carry a negative spirit; but with roommates and friends to care for them, many of these turn around and begin to get a better perspective. It is hard to be critical of such a great place, but griping is in the heart of man and even the best of things gets criticized by those who are critical.

For those that complain about rules, following rules is a part of life and it isn't hard to do. Kill the rebel nature inside you and just obey. It makes for a free conscience and a better position in the workplace, too! The people I know that complained about the rules while we were in college are now complaining about the rules in their workplace, and they have been let go from several jobs in a row for insubordination. Better to learn to submit now than when you are providing for a family!

PCC is run by people, and therein lies opportunity for problems. No one does everything right all the time. But I wouldn't be unmerciful; there are decisions I've made and things I've said that I wish I could change, too. Overall, they are excellent. I DO RECOMMENDED PCC! We have sent several people there recently that are new Christians and they grew so much while attending. I like that they start with a general survey in New and Old Testament for these who have not grown up in church. It gives them a foundation on which to build.
