The 10 years that I spent at PCCQuite BrightEducation
The 10 years that I spent at PCC both as a student and then as a faculty member were difficult, but I grew and learned so much. I know that times have changed and I have two younger siblings who currently attend PCC say that the years I spent there were "the good 'ol days" and that they missed out on the blessings because it is SOOO not what I protrayed it as; and I am sorry for that. I feel as if I had missed led them somehow. They are determined to remain and grasuate and I am proud of them both for that.

Question
I did not graduate from PCC with aCommunications
I did not graduate from PCC with a degree in education, but PCC gave me an incredible educational experience by teaching me not to procrastinate and to make the most of my time. Everything was geered toward the professional world in every capacity and I had no trouble at all in falling into the teaching profession. I did have to take extra classes to get my teaching certificate for the public school system, but that was a piece of cake compared to my years at PCC. I wish I had known what I wanted to do before I chose Commercial Writing as my major, but as with most college graduates, we rarely end up doing what we set out to do in the first place. I find that you love what you know and I sure have learned a lot about teaching these past nine years.

PCC was more than just an educational experience, though. The christian foundation I recieved was tremendous and I learned what it will be like one day to worship with people of all cultures. To look across from you and hear someone speaking Russian or the laughter of the Jamaican, to see the pride in Canadians and Japanese as they march carrying their flags in a missions conference is unbelievable. I once roomed with a person from Washington State, another from Pennsylvania, and another from Maine. I'm from Florida. We covered the states from coast to coast.

Those who gripe about the guidelines that they require you to follow are not looking at the bigger picture. What's a few rules to what you learn in the process? I learned discipline, self control, and professionalism which was accompanied by the development of spiritual enlightenment, and an understanding and love of those who are more conservative that I am. I know that there are many who are forced by their parents to attend PCC because of the low costs or their safety precautions concerning their students, but I chose to go there out of a want of christian fellowship and Bible study. My parents favored a state college instead. They now agree that I was right in my choice. I got so much more than what I bargained for. I encourage anyone with a positive attitude toward learning and a love of christian fellowship to consider PCC.
