I am a graduate of the business program.Quite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
I am a graduate of the business program. I have never been able to obtain the graduate degree that I desire because PCC was not accredited. My parents sent me to PCC because they were dedicated Christians and thought that the school would encourage me in my faith. It did the opposite. My most vivid memory is being called to the office of the Dean of Women. It had come to her attention that I was dating an African American man (I am white). She told me that the school couldn't legally outlaw interracial dating, but that the administration did not approve. I will strongly discourage my own children from attending this college.

Question
ATY AWAY FROM PCC, IT'S WORSE THAN PRISONQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
ATY AWAY FROM PCC, IT'S WORSE THAN PRISONThis school is a total cult. you must go to church everyday, twice on sundays. You have to follow a strict dress code, can't wear jeans to class. They do hair checks every two weeks since you cant have a beard or facial hair. You are assigned room jobs and they check everyday if you do it. You can;t have any physical contact with the opposite sex or go off campus with a member of the opposite sex. They are stealing your money without giving you an adequate education. Thinking about buying books online...you can't, they print out their own books and you must buy the books in advance or else you get in trouble with your professors, if you miss the deadline they make you pay an extra $10 for every book you need. Dress code is atrocious, you have to wear a suit and tie to church on sundays and wednsay, if you don't wear a suit you can't go in the cafeteria to ear on those days. They have an 11 o'clock curfew, you must be inside your dorm by 10:15. If not you get demerits. When it's time for chapel and your still in your room, you get in trouble for not being out of the building. You have no personal freedom, your not allowed to watch tv, every website is blocked, even google images is blocked. if they suspect your oin anything on your laptop, they will randoml check everything on it, no music, no videos. do not come to PCC, its prison, they accept you easily and kick you out even faster.

Question
The academics and facualty are great, but unlessBrightReligion/Religious
The academics and facualty are great, but unless you are a strict, independent, fundamental Baptist with moral standards more strict than Jesus himself, you will not be happy at this college. There is no contact allowed between male and female students (not even shaking hands is allowed, so kissing is far out of the question), and forget about talking to a person of the opposite sex unless you are in a "chaperoned" area. You have a curfew of 10PM and an enforced bedtime of 11PM (12 on weekends) unless you are 23-years-old or older. Watching movies and television are offenses that could get you kicked out of the college, as well as any music that is not considered in their definition of conservitive christian music (CCM and Southern Gospel are banned). A warning to females students: you will NOT be allowed to wear pants whatsoever, even during the cold winter months.
