Never attend this college.Quite BrightPreLaw and Legal
Never attend this college. i was a junior and i just got kicked out 3 days ago just for my myspace and for tanning once and going off campus without scanning off!! its the worst place in the world. They want to control ever aspect of your life and they want to dominate everything from dress code to the way to talk and walk and everything and this is not even exaggeration! Its the biggest mistake i ever made in my life to go there and the biggest waste of 3 years the deans are asswholes! and they worship a different God from the one in the Bible!! its terrible and theyu brainwash people to badly!! I would never reccomend it to anyone!!

I had the priviledge of going to aQuite BrightEducation
I had the priviledge of going to a christian school all of my life. I knew about the "rules" of PCC but thought I was used to rules and could handle it. I was so excited to start my college career.

The year I spent at PCC was the hardest and longest year of my life. Even though it was 10 years ago I still deal with the emotional pain that I went through that year.

I don't talk about it much but what pains me so greatly is that seeing things have not changed. There are numberous college students in my church that have gone and returned feeling the same way I did. Please take these comments to heart. I know have two young children and I will do everyting I can to make sure they are not rob of their college experience like I was.

Question
Pensacola Christian College is an institution that practicesBrightPreLaw and Legal
Pensacola Christian College is an institution that practices a high standard in academics and morals. In this beautiful campus, students are given the opportunity to engage in this challenging atmosphere. This college can be what the students make it out to be, and to a high degree it can be what the framers make it out to be. From the perspective of an average human being, this college will usually surprise a student in some way. For me, I began to see something different than what the videos and advertisements offered. I came in with my eyes wide open about the tough rules I heard about. That was no surprise. I do not oppose any of the rules, for I look at them as opportunity for character building. I could deal with rules just fine, though it did take some adjusting. However, I found the rules to be frustrating, because they seemed to be more and more arbitrary. Not just the rules; but their teachings, ideologies, perceptions on how the Christian life ought to be. I am the type of person that does what I can to think outside of the box. That is where I and PCC clash. Not just individual teachers and administration, but the college as a whole seemed to be protruding this type of philosophy that students only do right as long as they follow what the school says is right. Inside the beautiful campus, students are looked down on who cannot keep their mind narrow. This is not to a large degree, but it exists. After a few years, I find myself completely out of touch with the place, because I spend more time off campus than on. As far as moral and spiritual training, I can speak for hundreds of students in saying that the college is not what it makes itself out to be. In other words, if you are a person that likes to learn new spiritual things everyday, likes to think deep, keeps and open mind on moral and Biblical principles, desires to hear more intriguing spiritual subjects, or the like; this college is not for you. You will get frustrated, and you will want to leave when it is too late. Do not get me wrong, however. God has worked through this college, and many students who graduated have been very successful. If you would find yourself content with obeying seemingly pointless rules, getting a very basic knowledge of the Bible, and receiving a good education, you will do just fine. All you will need to worry about is just avoiding too many demerits. I do not think this college is bad, it is just not for people like me. If you feel called to go here, that is great. Obey that calling. It is not hell like most people say, for hell is what they make it out to be. As for me, I wish I was at another college, but it is too late. I am too far into the years. However, perhaps God is using this. I never know. So I will stay balanced and content. Good luck with your college seeking endeavors!
