PCC is not accredited.Computer Engineering
PCC is not accredited. That should be a BIG concern. I graduated a long time ago and it was very very hard to get into Grad School. The PCC Deans tried writing letters on my behalf which did not help. What finally helped was my age (was older) and my company I work for was willing to stand up for me and get me in. I know PCC is working on accreditation but its taken WAY too long and when its all said and done will they really be accredited and recognized? It remains to be seen. PCC does have really good academics but no one in my area has ever heard of the school. I will never send my children there due to both lack of accreditation and way too many rules. I do not believe this school provides maturation space for 'growing up' time. I feel as though kids coming out of there are not prepared emotionally for the real world (not all, but most). Life is tough, people can be mean, people can be ruthless back stabbers and hurtful in business. I know most PCC students are not prepared for that side of business. It takes tough skin and I find many students are emotionally overwhelmed for a few years.

Question
School is not accredited.Nursing
School is not accredited.. So if you want a Nursing job its good, but now.. If you really wants a Nursing Career getting a MSN, MBA or a Doctorate in Nursing this place will do nothing for you! Nursing school was hard in itself, but the little details of the self righteous ridiculous administration of PCC made it 10X harder! No kidding a bunch of mandatory hours of chapel, church, prayer times for example, plus is the ONLY College on earth that will punish with an ?F? if you were found with a book after 11pm. Ridiculous right? They would consider it cheating.. Go figure! So whether you were smart and get it fast, or you were out of the PCC nursing program. I graduating with an MBA 12, and realize that if nurse want to be considered by Management, they should also learn about the financial aspects of healthcare rather than living in FREE healthcare care and world peace type of thinking~

Question
Communications
Some good classes, some not. Overall, a college that has been around this long should be accredited, no excuses.
