This school (like all others) is not heavenBrightNursing
This school (like all others) is not heaven on earth. It is run by people who can (and sometimes do) make mistakes. Success at this school depends on the students attitude. Yeah, some of the rules are strict, but they are not hard to follow. If you are seeking to please the Lord, you will do well. Too many times I think people expect Christian colleges to be "perfect" but that is impossible in this world. Remember to keep your eyes in God's will in your life, keep Him in the center of your attention and He will see you through. This school has been a positive influence on me. I have learned a great deal through the good and bad examples. Keep an open mind--even when others are being closeminded!

Question
This school is a JOKE and basically aQuite BrightUndecided
This school is a JOKE and basically a scam! It is biased all around! All of the classes are a disgrace to scholarship and the world of academia! In other words its an insult that it calls itself a college. I'm glad PCC is not accredited because this is nowhere close to any standards of any sort of real scholarship! Basically the way they teach things here is in the same level as pre school but with more memorizing! Who cares about institutionalized discipline last time I checked not many bad things happen on Harvard, UF, Princeton, UMiami, Ole Miss, etc and none have a patronizing system. Last time I checked PCC is the most critized college by its transferred out students, I wonder why?

Also this form of Christianity is so strange, fringe and ignorant of christian history, that it is unbelievable that 18-20 year olds in the modern day age actually believe in PCC's mission, that baffles me!

I think PCC students should Seriously listen to themselves talk and seriously look at themselves in the mirror because they are so arrogant and ignorant and not "in the know." The funny thing is that PCC students think there so right when there not!

If PCC wants to have a christian school that is perfectly fine. However I am pretty sure that it should stop false advertisement labelling itself a "college" because it is nothing close to a real "academic" institution, what kind of christian establishment is this? P.S. why do you think none of the greatest scholars in religion choose to work in PCC but opt for Harvard, Princeton, Oxford, Yale, etc.? The answer is PCC is NOT a member of ACADEMIA and has NO REAL SCHOLARSHIP! If you disagree with me concerning the lack of real scholarship at PCC then look at yourself talk and your defence shows how stuck up you are! This school has a blatant agenda that does not happen in most REAL universities.

Question
Good points: beautiful campus, very clean, good teaching,Music - Performance
Good points: beautiful campus, very clean, good teaching, spiritual growth, affordable, job experience in your major

Negative points: rules, dress code, music standards, controlling, not accredited
At a time in your life when you are trying to grow up, PCC treats you like a child. You really do have to fit into their mold. Very protective parents and students not yet ready to face the world will love this college.

I, being a music major, had a big problem with the limited music allowed. They are stuck in the classical era and the 1800's church music. They do not acknowlege that all instruments and styles of music can be used for God's glory.

The rules were stifling, yet I knew God wanted me there, so I put up with them. Although I did not agree with all of the doctrine taught, the instructors taught me the importance of God's Word and how to back up what I believe with the Bible.

If you ever want to teach in a public school, you will need to be accredited. Most private schools are now requiring their teachers to be accredited too. Expect to have to do more schooling at an accredited university after getting your degree here if you are going into the teaching field.

Dating on campus - the no touch rule was very frustrating at the time. Looking back, it was a good thing. It keeps you from getting too involved with a person at a time when you should be focusing on schooling. It helped me to get to know my boyfriend (now husband) very well because we couldn't get physical.PCC isn't for everybody. Definitely pray about whether or not God wants you there. If He wants you there, you can put up with what you don't like about PCC to get out of it what He wants you to.
