Parents-this is not a reform or charm school.Other
Parents-this is not a reform or charm school. Don't send your wayward little boy or girl here "for a year" and tell them they can go somewhere else. I know you worry about your kid, but if they're not what they should be by the time college age gets here, PCC isn't necessarily the answer. I'm not exaggerating when I say PCC could make things worse, driving your child further away from God. Not PCC's fault necessarily.

Question
With all of my contact with varying opinionsBright
With all of my contact with varying opinions about pcc, i have concluded one common denominator: ability and willingness to recognize authority and to follow instructions. a high school taecher taught me, if you woulde only follow directions, thing almost always turn out ok. so, if you're looking to attend pcc, really look inside and decide how it is you actually feel about authority and "rules. rules. rules." there are a lot of rules. many of them somewhat strict. but as long as you have a Christ-honoring view of authority, there should be no problem at all.

Question
Don't get me wrong I think this schoolAverageEducation
Don't get me wrong I think this school is a good school, with strong academics, and each student's best interest at heart. I respect what they are trying to teach students, what I don't agree with is the way they try to cram everything down your throat and expect you not to think for yourself. I've heard it said that a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down, but PCC seems to think that it goes down better if somebody shoves it down your throat with a spoon. I also do not like the hipocrasy that some of the student life officers seem to have. But overall it is a pretty good school. And I still plan on graduating from there.
