I think that a technical school would haveCommunications
I think that a technical school would have been the better option for me. The program was good, but too much time was wasted on courses which had nothing to do with communications. Also, the college thinks that it has the responsibility to keep students under very tight control. Although I think their motivation is good, the execution is brutal. I felt like I was little more than dirt to be walked on. The academic side of the college is excellent. If they could just refrain from treating students like they were criminals, I might change my mind about the college.

Question
I don't think there will ever be aQuite BrightAccounting
I don't think there will ever be a place that is "perfect" in anyone's eyes. There will always be things you disagree with and have a hard time with, but that is life. By coming here, you put yourself under the rules, the authority, and you should learn to deal with it. Of course, I have problems with several of the rules and way things are dealt with here, but all in all, it is a decent place. Like I said, no place is perfect. The rules are sometimes frustrating, but contrary to popular belief, I don't think the rules are formed just to annoy/control students. I think that they are, in the administrations' opinion, for students' safety and betterment. I think that, as I am about to graduate, I have learned an incredible amount of self-discipline from attending PCC. My advice: realize what you are getting into before you come. Have a good attitude about everything, and it's really not bad. Notice the good stuff... like how the faculty is so accessible and really cares about the students, how good the food really is compared to other universities, how beautiful the campus is, how you can have good clean fun, etc. Do that and you will enjoy your college life here.

Question
I went to PCC when I was 23.Education
I went to PCC when I was 23. I loved PCC my first year. I thought it was the greatest college ever! Little did I know that I was in for a fatal case of legalism. Though many of the views and beliefs at PCC were my beliefs, I felt that some of the beliefs I held were in violation of PCC. I felt that I was in prison for four years and wearing (what is perceived as sin in PCC's eyes ) jeans or shorts was unbiblical. PCC had to know exactly where I was every minute. I felt that every move I made would get me expelled. I could go on and on about this, but you would probably stop reading. The bottom line is when I graduated, I promised myself I would never step into another church again. It has taken me four years to get over that experience. On a positive note, the education you will receive is outstanding! I went for education and the teachers were incredible and very knowledgeable. If you can handle four years out of your life and fill it with rigidness, legalism, and feeling insecure as a Christian but get a solid education, do it. If you cannot, you can still attend many Christian universities that are Bible-believing and less rigid.
