Yale University is an amazing place!Quite BrightPsychology
Yale University is an amazing place! As a whole, students are outgoing, interesting, friendly, and passionate about life, and professors are brilliant, and passionate about the subjects they teach. Yale is not perfect for everyone. In order to succeed, students must be prepared to work hard. Yale is not easy. However, Yale is never boring. There is always a lot to do on campus. From extracurricular activities, lectures, intramural sports, during the week, and parties, plays and concerts during the weekend, I am never bored. I love Yale!

Question
So much of Yale depends on your attitudeQuite BrightEconomics
So much of Yale depends on your attitude and expectations. Before I came I had a perfect image of Yale. I thought people would be humble and smart and talented and accepting, etc. What attracted me to this place at first was that everyone seemed to just LOVE it, so when I came and didn't enjoy it as much, I felt out of place. A lot of that was because I met some not-so-uplifting people who just sat around and complained about how miserable their lives were. Not cheerful. But when I came back second year, I decided to have a more positive attitude, and met a lot of really cool people who were more in tune with my personality. Since then I've come to love this place, and to really take advantage of the fun things New Haven has to offer. I would strongly suggest that you visit before making a decision about joining this horde of liberal masses. The prestige is nice, but it'll only get you so far.

A student interested in learning can find aNot so brightAnthropology
A student interested in learning can find a great time at Yale. I had small undergrad seminars with brilliant professors, and if I asked got permission to take any grad course I wanted too.But it is also easy to get burned out from trying to get all you can out of the place. Most students are very hard working plus stay up late for socializing.
