The school with NOT work with you onBrightOther
The school with NOT work with you on payments. if you fail a class, failing is lower than 70% instead of 60% like other places, you have to get them the money to retake the class before you can enroll for the next quarter. so i had 2 months to magically come up with $800 for one class. they would not let me do payments more than those 2 months. they would not ad it into the normal tuition i owed.

their facility is inadequate. the place is falling apart and way to small for how many students they have. there is not near enough parking. if you park in the apartments parking lot across the street you will get a ticket. so you have to circle the parking lot waiting for someone to leave. that means you might be late to class, even if you get there early, and miss half a test or more, causing you to fail it. so to sum it up, they're money hungry and treat their students horribly.

I would look carefully at all of yourQuite BrightUndecided
I would look carefully at all of your options for vet tech schools. You will not make much money as a CVT. That's the sad reality. You pay $24,000 for an education and you're lucky to make $20,000 when you're finished.

I am switching schools at the end of this quarter.
The director of the school (female) is by far one of the CRAPPIEST people in the world. She must have slept her way to the top. This school has a lot of money coming in but it goes right into the pockets of the owners. As a certified vet tech, you will probably be changing careers in 5 years because by then you will have figured out that you can't make money in this field. Go to vet school.

Question
I am very proud of the education thatAnimal Studies
I am very proud of the education that I recieved at Bel-Rea. It has helped me in many ways, because of the specialized program and the reputation that the school has, I feel that I have been able to succeed at a higer level than I would have if I had gone to a community college with a vet tech program. Because it is only a vet tech school, every class you take is specalized for veterianary technology. From math to chemistry to anatomy. You are not just taking gen eds and adapting them to animal science. The program is very rigerous being that each class is only 10 weeks long. But it is well worth it and I feel that I was completely prepared for the national exam. I graduated in March and in June I took the exam, barely studied at all and passed with a 98%! All thanks to the excellent education I got at Bel-Rea.

The school doesn't look like much but it has everything you need for a great education. Being in Denver, it is surrounded by tons of clinics to do your internships at and see how it is out in the real world. Besides the fact that Denver is such an amazing place to live by itself!Being that about 80% of the students are from out of state and there is no campus housing the school does a good job of connecting students to find roomates. It was fun to meet people from all over the country interested in the same field. But be warned that many people couldn't hack it and two of my roomates flunked out. So, if you just like cute kittens and puppies this is not the place for you!
