Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I would have to say that I’m notQuite BrightVideo/Media
I would have to say that I’m not very satisfied with Chapman. Although everyone in the world seems to think it’s a “great school”, it pretty much sucks. When I thought of college, I thought of a place to meet people and enjoy myself. Thus far I can’t say I’ve enjoyed myself or met people. The vast majority of students seem to think they are “better” than the rest of the world. Additionally, they girls here are like nothing I’ve ever seen. Ya, they are attractive, but they are stuck-up, self centered, or unattractive all together. The film department isn’t that bad, but it doesn’t teach much. The requirements are outrageous, and they lock you into taking all kinds of pointless classes. I think this school is all about PR, they just want to look good. They spend a ton of money on image and seem to ignore the students all together. Overall, I’m not too satisfied with this school, but in two years I’m out of here and that will be a great day!

Chapman's main draw is film, and if allQuite BrightOther
Chapman's main draw is film, and if all you want to do is make a thesis film, get a degree, and then get an internship in the industry, then this is the place for you. Which is fine. I'm not speaking out against that. If that's your career path, great, go to Chapman. Otherwise, the only way I would recommend this school is if:

-you're rich
-you're from Southern California
-you're full of yourself
-all you do is talk on your cell phone while going to/from class
-socially, all you care about is drinking
-you don't care a bit about athletics
-you don't care about academics
-you're not very smart
-you like easy classes and absolutely refuse to participate in class discussions
-you don't mind a president/administration whose sole purpose within the school is raising funds and improving the school's reputation outside the school, while completely ignoring the students already enrolled

-on the whole, you really don't care either way about collegeNeedless to say, I am none of these, so I'm transferring after a year, which is a year too late.
